I think it’s important to get a flavour of what someone is like when you are thinking about booking sessions with a coach, so here’s a bit about me:
I’ve been a medical doctor for over 25 years working mainly as a GP. I love making a connection with people by really listening to them. It’s important to me that I see patients as more than just a heart or a lung. The current issue that’s brought to me is only one part of the jigsaw puzzle. I was tired of the 15 minute time constraint and so I trained in coaching and now I’m a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation)
My own first experience of working with a coach was an eye-opener. One of the things the coach did was encourage me to picture the type of lifestyle I wanted to live. I wrote down various elements of what that life would look like and stuck it in a drawer, seemingly forgotten. Unpacking after a house move a few years later, I found the seemingly mythical wish-list again. I was shocked at how many of the items on that list had come true, even down to the deer visiting the garden. I believe that the process of writing it down made my subconscious focus attention on what I wanted, with a lot more clarity than before.
These days, you’ll often find me covered in unmentionable things, pottering in the garden, with my chickens, cat and dog. I never knew chickens had personalities, but they do and they make me laugh on a daily basis.

So if you have goals, ideas, wish lists, then now is the time to reach out.
