When do I need coaching?

If I could send one piece of advice back in time to my 20 year old self it would be to (get over the worries that a coach is a smug know it all) drop the pre-conceptions and engage the services of a coach, at least periodically. It wasn’t until I was in my forties that I experienced coaching, and when I did, the areas of life that I worked on progressed much faster than anything I had achieved under my own steam.

If you agree with any of the statements below, or are facing your own unique challenges, then now is a good time to reach out.

Personal

  • It feels like there is never enough time in my week.
  • I find myself saying yes to too many things.
  • A key relationship is under strain.
  • One part of my life is going well but other areas are being sacrificed.
  • There’s been a major health issue and I am coming out the other end needing a fresh focus.
  • My energy levels could be better.
  • Changes are happening as a result of a house move, divorce or retirement.

Professional

  • I am not sure if I am in the right job.
  • Promotion keeps evading me.
  • I have a dream to change direction but keep putting it off and I am unsure why.
  • I have got ideas to generate income but stall when it comes to getting going.
  • I feel ground down by work and am recognising burn-out.
  • I am working on leadership skills and need an objective ear.
  • Changes are happening as a result of redundancy, demotion or retirement.
